International Training Services International Training July 2010 International Training - Cairo - Egypt - July 2010 jml Training trainers Gráinne Suter and Candy Piercy presented a three day training course between the 23rd and 25th July 2010. The NAL Gender Workshop was aimed at African women in politics and was organized by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD). There were over twenty one delegates from African countries including Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Sudan and Tunisia. The venue was the Mövenpick Resort at Cairo Pyramids. The Pyramids are only a stones throw from the hotel and when the training had finished a sightseeing visit took place. Gráinne commented that "it was a most successful programme with women from different political parties being able to exchange ideas and learn more about politics for women in other African countries." "The training provided the women with many practical tools on leading a campaign team, project managing a campaign and communication skills to manage the media."
